-May 21-Cancer Walk
-May 21-Parents Night Out (PTG)
-May 24 -If all goes well we are going to try and get the museum.
-May31st - No School - Memorial Day
-June 2-End of Year Picnic-June 3
-3rd grade graduation, 2:00 pm in the gym
-Please try and fill out your Parent Surveys and send them back to the school. Thanks for you help in this.
-Reading is still necessary every evening. I realize with the nice weather and lighter evenings this can be hard. Please try and have your child read at least 15-20 minutes a night.
-We are done with our multiplication and division unit. Please remember your child still needs to practice these facts nightly to memorize them and/or retain them. It can be just 5 minutes a night and you will see continued improvement.
-We are starting our math unit on measurement.
-Cancer Walk was held on May 21st, even though the weather did not want to cooperate. Donations can be brought in at anytime until the end of the school year. All checks should be made out to SACS. Thank you for participating. I will get an update on the amount of donations before the end of the year.
